I got to know Dave when we sat next to each other in yearbook class in high school. His love for education and knowledge was obvious, and his wit was something that I always looked forward to at the end of the day (it was the last class of the day). I recall how much he loved his trip to Russia with the high school Russian class. So many stories came from that trip. I also recall that when he was studying government procedure, he and Matt would come into yearbook class with pencils, pretending that they were microphones, and conduct senate subcommittee hearings. I haven't seen Dave since high school, but these stories have become and will continue to be cherished memories for me. That's the kind of memorable person he was...IS. My thoughts are with you.
